A Beautiful Mess

Hello! I just finished my two weeks of monthly test, which is quite a torture for me. I didn't have a proper meal time, which made me fall sick on the last two days of the test T.T I will have my Bahasa Indonesia IGCSE examination tomorrow (Monday) and on Wednesday. I know that Wednesday is a public holiday here in Indonesia, but since our examination is from Cambridge, Wednesday is a normal working day for them T.T..... But its okay, as a compensation, our school gives us a 'compensation holiday' on Tuesday >,< I went to the Mall with two of my close friends yesterday. It was indeed a stress reliever. We went to watch 'Pan' together, and strolled around the mall haphazardly. If you follow me on Snapchat (vaniairene) you must have known what we were doing the whole day. Let me tell you few things about me and my friend: We love to get in to Toys Kingdom and play with the toys with "Try Me!" written on it.  We usually roam around the m...

Joie de vivre

Joie de vivre is a French phrase to express a cheerful enjoyment of life; exultation of spirit. The title says it all. I am feeling happy. Not because I am free of problems, but because, I started learning to feel grateful for every little thing happening around me.   Life itself has been a roller coaster to me. There will be a day where I started going up and reached the summit of ecstasy, and there will be a day where I started going down and reached the nadir of morose. But what matters the most is, through the ups and downs of my own roller coaster, I am accompanied by a person who truly cares about me, who will never let me scream and laugh alone in the ride. You can't expect everyone around you to like you, right? No matter how good you are, how nice you are, or how perfect you are, there will be people who judge and hate you anyway. So, instead of focusing on the negativity, look at the positive sides. Learn to love yourself, accept yourself, and be gratef...

Nautical

I had no extra class yesterday (Saturday), so I  finally decided to take outfit photos, and update my blog >,< yay. In this post, I am going to share my experience as a fashion blogger so far, because I have quite lot of stories to tell. This blog has been running since December 2013, and now, it is 2015, it is almost 2 years. When everyone asked me the reason of starting a blog, well... I have no idea at all. I started my blog just out of the blue. It was an odd idea for me to have myself a blog, because well, everyone in my class considered me as a 'quiet' person. And also, I didn't like 'reveal' myself too much to everyone. Back then, I stumbled upon a lot of fashion blogger's blog, and my first impression was like "wow...". I was awed by their mix-matching skills, and their beauty, of course. I also love it how they pour their experiences, feelings, and everything into one post. Not sure what was going through my head that time, I...

French Fries

Hello! I named this post as 'French Fries' because of the pattern on my T-shirt which is french fries. I took this photo around 6 months ago, but got a chance to post it now because I was super busy with school.  The first week of grade 10 seems to be tough. We have extra class everyday, including Saturday. Yes, Saturday, the day when I am supposed to lay myself on the couch, having some fun, immersing myself in the beauty of life. Lol. Just kidding, I was exaggerating. I usually have tuitions on Saturday and did my homework as soon as I reached home. I can never relax myself completely for the whole day because whenever there's a holiday, all the teachers are going to give us lots of homeworks. The only day when I am relaxing myself completely is when I am on Summer / Christmas holiday.  I don't know if it is just me who are being emotional, but I feel like things do not go as how it is supposed to be. I feel like the world is against me. Sometimes I feel like being a ...

China Travel Diary: Day 8

So on my second day in Beijing, we went to the Great Wall of China. Great Wall of China is definitely a must-visit place when you are in Beijing, right? It is full of tourist, and you must experience climbing this enormous wall at least once. It was fun, I swear, even during winter! I was so enthusiastic in climbing this wall that I kept on walking and climbing the steep stairs until my breath was heavy. lol.  I even sweat while I was climbing the wall despite the cold temperature (it was -2 degree that time)  I climbed four towers with my other tour mates. I gave up on the fourth tower because I was super tired and I couldn't hold it anymore lol. My breath was still fast, heavy and irregular. So I went back and they climbed another two towers. So they climbed six towers in total. Right from the Great Wall, we went to the Olympic stadium. It is the National Stadium of Beijing. The stadium looks like a bird's nest, th...

China Travel Diary: Day 7

Hello everyone. I am glad that I finally got my wifi back, which means that I am finally able to write through my laptop. I had been writing through my phone, and it was very inconvenient. So here it is! The 2nd day of my trip in Beijing!  It was a very cold day. It was -2 degrees in the morning. I don't post so much photos in this post because I could barely move during that day. I was not able to took off my gloves and took picture. I know I am able to took it with my gloves on, but my gloves was too thick and slippery, and taking off the gloves would mean that I am torturing myself with the cold. I also don't really take much photos of myself there, because, well... It was so cold that my whole body feel numb, especially my nose, and I could not even feel that there were unstoppable snots coming out of my nose. lol. My nose also turns red, like a Rudolph. So all of you must promise me that you will not laugh when seeing my face in thi...
