Finally I am back from the long hiatus. First of all, I would like to apologise for the 1 month hiatus. Have been so busy with school, exams and national examinations lately. Yesterday was my last day of school and I am feeling so relaxed now! No more stress :D
So, this is the continuation of my winter holiday to China. So, on the day 5 of our journey, we were in Su Zhou. Su Zhou is know for its beautiful ladies, they said. But sadly I didn't find any pretty ladies there. Lol.
In Su zhou, we went to visit Tiger hill. The hill is named as Tiger hill because it looks like a crouching tiger.
It has several features and I will only tell you some here (since I didn't take all of its photos)
See the cutting in the rock? It is believed that it was cut into two pieces by a legendary sword with extraordinary sharpness
This is a spring of simplicity and honesty. It is a well (I only capture this spring sign, didn't take a photo of the well, sorry) in which, according to the legend, appeared as a spring to an exhausted monk carrying water up the entire length of the hill.
And, see the pagoda in the first picture? This is the pagoda. Its name is Yunyan Pagoda. It is known for its lean. In more than a thousand of years, the pagoda has gradually slanted due to the force of nature.
Okay. Our journey in Su Zhou stops there. After that, we were heading to Wu xi.
In Wu xi, we went to visit Three Kingdom castle or San Guo Cheng (三国城) in Chinese. Major classic reproduction on tv is filmed here in Wuxi
Beautiful view, eh?
This is lake Tai hu. It is still located inside the Three Kingdom castle. This wooden ships were used for filming too, and we got an opportunity to ride it to see the beautiful scenery around the lake.
Inside the ship. My hand was holding a street-snack that I bought outside the ship. It was pretty nice.
After that, we went to see a horse ride show. I actually don't understand what is going on in the show. All I know is that they were fighting. Lol.
So, my day 5 journey stops here. See you later everyone :)
great view...I almost went to Su Zhou on my last trip to China, too bad I ended up not going there :(
