A Touristy Stroll

No longer a tourist, but this touristy spot is simply irresistible. I am pretty sure everyone knows where this is. Yep, the famous Haji Lane in Singapore. Absolutely the must-go-to spot for our fellow instagrammers whenever they visit Singapore. Whether you just love street photography or fashion ootd shot, this picturesque alley surrounded with quirky stores, bars, and restaurant is not something to be missed, right? As for me, its quite a struggle to take my outfit shot here. Came around 5 p.m. in the afternoon, and there were a lot of people wanting to take some shots as well. Need to be quick and brisk in order to get this quite-empty background. Well, thanks to @deahamdan . Had a meet up with her at Bugis that day, then she accompanied me to Haji Lane and helped me to take a quick ootd shot. It was raining in the morning till afternoon, but luckily, the rain stopped when we wanted to go there!  Just a little story, last week, I turned 17. Well, its supposed ...

Green Bomber Jacket

It's 3 a.m. in the morning and my brain has gone wild... So let me write another post.  The fact that I am leaving this country in less than one week actually... bothers me. I don't know if it bothers me in a good way, or the other way around, but I guess, its a mixture of both. I am happy to start and learn something really new, get out of my comfort zone, and gain more experiences, but on the other hand, I am not ready to leave everything behind... It's kind of a mixed feelings for me.  I spent my last moment in Jakarta by eating a lot of Indonesians food. Pretty sure I will miss it a lot. I am also done with packing. 2 big luggages for myself, and 1 cabin luggage for my laptop and other important documents. I guess that's not a lot? ( ̄▽ ̄ ") I am currently in love with bomber jackets. It looks good with everything and keeps me warm during gloomy and rainy days. I feel like collecting all of its colours, but I feel that it will be a total ...

The Ripped Jeans

Exactly one more month till I am leaving the J-town. Couldn't express my feelings, but I am all ready. I have been sick in past few days. I think, its been a week already, but now I'm feeling way better!  I have been so unproductive for the past few months, and it feels like I begin to get used to it, lol. Its been 3 months since I entered school, and now, I don't know if my brain is still working properly. Most of my friends have entered their college or university. I'm feeling like a couch potato T^T.  I'm spending most of my time in front of my laptop. As I have told you in the previous post, I am currently writing articles for WhatWeLike.co. I am going to give you the link at the end of this post. Right now, its pretty chill for me. But as soon as I entered college, I don't think things are going to be the same. I think, I have to master the art of time management. In this post, I am wearing dark liquid lipstick. I got mine from Stil...

Lost In the Garden

After a long school holiday, I am finally back to my normal routine! Even though I am not in school anymore, but I am spending my free time with more productive  sensible activities. I have been visiting school to meet my friends quite often and I am currently having an intensive mandarin course. Also spent some of my time hanging out and lounging around with my friends ^^. Pretty sure I gained few kgs as I can see my cheeks expanding. All I did during holiday was staying up till dawn and waking up very late and eating yummy food greedily *feeling guilty* T^T These photos were taken 1 month ago at Gardens by the bay. So sorry for being lazy but I really had no motivation to do anything during my holiday ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ 3 more months before I'm moving to Singapore for college. Exciting, yet scary at the same time. This will be my very first time living abroad without parents or relatives beside me :') These days, I have been collecting stuffs for college. Starting fr...

Basket of Memories

2 more months. Time flies that fast, huh?   Next month, I will be graduated from Grade 10. After that, my IGCSE examinations start to commence. Am I ready? I'm not. I am certainly not. I am still in the middle of my journey, collecting every piece of memories, piling it up into a basket of memories that I could reminisce in the future. It is not the fact that I am not ready for IGCSE examinations, instead, I am not ready to be graduated, and perhaps, I will never be.  I am not ready to leave my high school moments. I am not ready to leave school. I am not ready to start a new life. I am not ready to enter University. I am not ready to make new friends. And most importantly, I am not ready to say good bye to everyone around me.  I hate the word good bye, and I hate the idea of good bye itself. Perhaps, the words 'see you later' sound more euphonious, even when the word later, will never come.. But there will always be a good bye in every hello,...

Happy Chinese New Year!

我要祝你大家:新年快乐,恭喜发财,年年有余,岁岁平安,新春大吉!祝新的一年吉祥如意!May this year of monkey brings you luck, fortune, happiness, wealth and prosperity! Hello everyone! I am glad that I am able to update my blog now. School has been so hectic, and it is just few more months until my IGCSE examinations. I have extra classes every Saturday, so it is almost impossible for me to have a photoshoot and update my blog.  Last week, I fell sick, and it was during my monthly test, so it was very difficult for me to study especially when I was knocked down and dozed off due to the medicine that the doctor gave me T.T Went to the doctor three times in a week T.T But now, I am completely fine and I am beyond happy for it :)  This is the outfit that I wear today. This crochet dress is very simple, yet elegant. I can wear it to any formal or non-formal occasion, and its very versatile! I love the details of its neck and sleeves. I am thinking to pair it with a leather jacket and black lace up heels. ...

Joie de vivre

Joie de vivre is a French phrase to express a cheerful enjoyment of life; exultation of spirit. The title says it all. I am feeling happy. Not because I am free of problems, but because, I started learning to feel grateful for every little thing happening around me.   Life itself has been a roller coaster to me. There will be a day where I started going up and reached the summit of ecstasy, and there will be a day where I started going down and reached the nadir of morose. But what matters the most is, through the ups and downs of my own roller coaster, I am accompanied by a person who truly cares about me, who will never let me scream and laugh alone in the ride. You can't expect everyone around you to like you, right? No matter how good you are, how nice you are, or how perfect you are, there will be people who judge and hate you anyway. So, instead of focusing on the negativity, look at the positive sides. Learn to love yourself, accept yourself, and be gratef...
