So on my second day in Beijing, we went to the Great Wall of China. Great Wall of China is definitely a must-visit place when you are in Beijing, right? It is full of tourist, and you must experience climbing this enormous wall at least once. It was fun, I swear, even during winter!
I was so enthusiastic in climbing this wall that I kept on walking and climbing the steep stairs until my breath was heavy. lol. I even sweat while I was climbing the wall despite the cold temperature (it was -2 degree that time)
I climbed four towers with my other tour mates. I gave up on the fourth tower because I was super tired and I couldn't hold it anymore lol. My breath was still fast, heavy and irregular. So I went back and they climbed another two towers. So they climbed six towers in total.
Right from the Great Wall, we went to the Olympic stadium. It is the National Stadium of Beijing. The stadium looks like a bird's nest, that is why they are also known as Bird's nest stadium.
We didn't take a closer look to the stadium. The tour guide told us that we stopped here just to take photos.
Right from there, we went for dinner and then came back to the hotel to take a rest because we will fly back to Indonesia the next day. We spent most of our time in the Great Wall. Climbing the Great Wall was fun and I enjoyed so much that I fell sick in the next day for two days T.T
But overall, this China Trip is completely the memorable one!
