i Light at Marina Bay Sands

Few days ago, I visited i Light at Marina Bay Sands with Bella from @bellamoreway on Instagram, and Ellen Ang from @elen_ang on Instagram. It was a total pleasure to meet them. Before I proceed, let me explain you what i Light is. Basically, i Light is the light art festival that takes place annually around the Marina Bay Sands area. This year is the fifth edition, although it was my first time visiting i Light.

As I said, meeting them was a total pleasure. Albeit it was my first time meeting them, I can connect and converse well with them. We talked about so many things and did not run out of topics, from boyfriend (although I have none and I could just listen to their advices and experiences, lol) to budget travelling. We had so much fun in exploring the place, just relaxing and gallivanting around while enjoying the illuminating lights of the city. We took quite a lot of photos also, and I was having a very hard time in choosing which one to post. My DSLR does not work really well under low light, so all of these photos were taken with Bella's camera. Thanks to her and her magic camera though. The results are awesome.

We explored the place until 11:30 p.m., then we were rushed to take the MRT, switching between lines, and praying that we will not miss the last train. I missed the last bus though. But despite all, it was a very remarkable experience. Good memories with good people. Definitely looking forward to meet them again in the future.

A Touristy Stroll

No longer a tourist, but this touristy spot is simply irresistible. I am pretty sure everyone knows where this is. Yep, the famous Haji Lane in Singapore. Absolutely the must-go-to spot for our fellow instagrammers whenever they visit Singapore. Whether you just love street photography or fashion ootd shot, this picturesque alley surrounded with quirky stores, bars, and restaurant is not something to be missed, right? As for me, its quite a struggle to take my outfit shot here. Came around 5 p.m. in the afternoon, and there were a lot of people wanting to take some shots as well. Need to be quick and brisk in order to get this quite-empty background. Well, thanks to @deahamdan . Had a meet up with her at Bugis that day, then she accompanied me to Haji Lane and helped me to take a quick ootd shot. It was raining in the morning till afternoon, but luckily, the rain stopped when we wanted to go there!  Just a little story, last week, I turned 17. Well, its supposed ...

2017 - Recap.

The fact that January is going to end soon still leaves me in a shock. Time flies that fast, huh? I feel so bad that I haven't make a new year post or a 2017 recap post kinda thing like what most people do. I have been busy catching up with life and especially, uni. Well, what an excuse. However, I would like to thank 2017 for being a very very great year for me. In 2017, I said yes to many many many things. I learned to make important decisions, and especially, I learned how stand alone and solve things with my own feet. I learned that life can somehow be ruthless, but with a strong heart and positive mind, you can conquer it and good things will come to you. I learned that not everyone will like you, and it doesn't matter. How you love yourself and the way you treat yourself is all that matters. In 2017, I made plenty of friends. Sure, I lost some friends during my journey, but again, it doesn't matter. I also volunteered to many new outreach activities, beco...

Out of my mind

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I posted anything in this blog. I actually went out so many times, and able to take blog photos, but the sun was so unfavourable that it made me lazy to take photos -_-. School has been really nice and I refused to talk about it right now. Some incidents irritated me a lot and I still could not forget it until now.. I am really sorry for using this skirt again and again ._. I actually have a lot of skirt in my closet and some of them still have their price tag on, but I love this flared skirt so much that every time I open  my closet the first thing that attracts my eye is this skirt -_- Its flare helps my pole-like body to look better I guess? At least I didn't make me look like a pole.. Shoes, Skirt, and shirt from Stradivarius Socks from Topshop Michael Kors selma medium messenger  Happy late halloween everyone :3 See you later peeps :> Follow me on instagram: vania_irene Want to ask me...
