2017 - Recap.

The fact that January is going to end soon still leaves me in a shock. Time flies that fast, huh? I feel so bad that I haven't make a new year post or a 2017 recap post kinda thing like what most people do. I have been busy catching up with life and especially, uni. Well, what an excuse.

However, I would like to thank 2017 for being a very very great year for me. In 2017, I said yes to many many many things. I learned to make important decisions, and especially, I learned how stand alone and solve things with my own feet. I learned that life can somehow be ruthless, but with a strong heart and positive mind, you can conquer it and good things will come to you. I learned that not everyone will like you, and it doesn't matter. How you love yourself and the way you treat yourself is all that matters.

In 2017, I made plenty of friends. Sure, I lost some friends during my journey, but again, it doesn't matter. I also volunteered to many new outreach activities, become more active in church, and helped to arrange some events. These might be small things to some people, but for me, it was entirely a new experience and I am truly happy for it.

In 2017, I finally turned 17 and got my identity card and driving license. Well, I was that excited, despite the fact that I still cannot drive... hahaha. Should being able to drive a car be my goal in 2018? Lol.

Last year, I got to visit Christmas Wonderland with the people that I love. It was raining so we had to buy a $1 poncho. I also got to try this very weird Smurf drink. It tastes good though.

And oh, I finally got the chance to visit Hello Kitty Cafe! This girl is a big fan of Hello Kitty and was very happy.

Also got the chance to visit the very end of Singapore (I can actually see Malaysia from there) just for  the sake of taking this particular picture. Went there with my friends, soaked in rain, and we almost died due to car accident. Lol, what a very memorable experience.

If you ask me, what are my new year resolutions, I would say none. Why? Because I personally feel that we do not need new year to set new goals and change ourselves to the better.

However, in 2018, I want to learn to love myself a little bit more. To be gentle with myself, and be kind to my own feelings.

I also want to learn to let go. To let go of regrets, anxieties, insecurities, toxic people, and perfection. I want to appreciate the things that I already have, and people who have always been there for me. I want to trust people more, and lastly, I want to be closer to God.

And wait, I forgot one more thing. I want to have a good night sleep. Lol.

So hello 2018, I am ready for new adventures :)

Yes, I know this selfie is very misleading and this Snapchat filter makes me look fake.

A Touristy Stroll

No longer a tourist, but this touristy spot is simply irresistible. I am pretty sure everyone knows where this is. Yep, the famous Haji Lane in Singapore. Absolutely the must-go-to spot for our fellow instagrammers whenever they visit Singapore. Whether you just love street photography or fashion ootd shot, this picturesque alley surrounded with quirky stores, bars, and restaurant is not something to be missed, right? As for me, its quite a struggle to take my outfit shot here. Came around 5 p.m. in the afternoon, and there were a lot of people wanting to take some shots as well. Need to be quick and brisk in order to get this quite-empty background. Well, thanks to @deahamdan . Had a meet up with her at Bugis that day, then she accompanied me to Haji Lane and helped me to take a quick ootd shot. It was raining in the morning till afternoon, but luckily, the rain stopped when we wanted to go there!  Just a little story, last week, I turned 17. Well, its supposed ...

Monochrome

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I updated my blog. My monthly test are finally over and I am quite satisfied with my marks, even though I still have to work out more on some areas. As I told you in my previous post that I was so stressed about my test, yes, I was so stressed that I got a full packet of sickness (cold + fever + bad cough + dizziness), and I lose 1 kg ._. but I think it's all worth it. I took this photo before I did my Living Values project with my classmates. The project requires us to record a 10 minutes video about act of responsibility, and we had a lot of fun! Anyway, do you notice any changes? If yes, congratulations. I permed my hair just because I want to have a more volumised hair. I hate my super sleek hair, and when my hairstylist told me about this hair perming, I immediately said yes, because having a thick hair is one of my dream. What excites me about this hair perming is that it doesn't damage my hair! What do...
